In an exclusive interview with CEO Insights, Anil talks more about his professional journey and the unique business operations of 5th Element.
Tell us about your educational and professional background prior to 5th element. When you first started working; did you foresee that this is where you would be?
I was introduced to the field of Neuro Linguistic Programming in 2007 when I was still in the IT industry, and I was so fascinated by it that I start learning everything there was to learn in this field and then some more. I started working with people, coaching them through their situations towards their results from as early as 2009 when I was in Dubai. At that time, this was pure fascination for me and I hadn’t thought or planned that I would be doing this as my main profession.
I believe everyone is unique, every human being is unique, every coach is unique, and in that sense, we are all the same because each one of us has the quality of being unique. Speaking about myself, people ask me what is your super power and I say to them My super power is that I see in you that which you deny even to yourself. What this means is that I am able to get such a deeper understanding of your core beliefs and values that even you may not be consciously aware of.

for my ICF Accredited course Life & Business Coach. What different roles have you been undertaking at 5th Element and how do you keep your team motivated?
My business setup of 5th Element Behaviour Consultancy is extremely lean and mean. I am all there is to it. I do not have any employees, which means from the coffee to the deal, from the clerical to the strategic it is all me, and I am also the face people recognize as their coach and trainer. So how have I managed so much despite being a sole person in this business? The secret is automation and outsourcing. Today’s world offers so many opportunities for you to outsource just about everything, and for the rest, you can automate. And of course, my technology background helps in identifying the automation opportunities.
With 22 years of experience in IT industry, how does your experience help you to chalk-out business operation for the company?
When you have met with, trained and coached so many people from so many different parts of the world, you begin to see patterns, patterns that keep repeating, and then you find that what worked in a previous situation can and will work here because it’s proven to have worked. Is this necessarily always true? Maybe not. But most definitely, it improves the chances and allows me to operate from deeper insights of having seen things fail and having seen things work.
What are all the steps you have been taking as an NLP Trainer for gearing-up your company in the coming future?
The future is very interesting just as the past. I started conducting my trainings and coaching online (remove the off) as early as 2015 and then in 2018, I gave it a very strong push. By 2018, half of my revenues was from online deliverychannels. No one, absolutely

no one had predicted this pandemic and how it would disrupt the entire world. The fact of the matter is not even I had predicted. But I was certain that online is the future and I kept building that from as early as 2015.
Needless to say, I believe I have a strong sense of vision for the future and I am always planning 3-5 years ahead for what may come. Even now, I have a very clear roadmap of what I want my business to look like by end 2023 and by the time I reach there, I will have my vision till up to 2026/2027.
In your professional journey so far, which are the milestones that bestowed you with utmost satisfaction - both as an individual and as an NLP Trainer and a Coach?
I think the biggest satisfaction is when my protégé turns around and becomes a super successful, super wealthy, business owner and sees a 10x jump in revenues within a span of 15 months, when my protégé who was on the verge of giving-up his dream is now helping others live and achieve their dreams.
Can you tell us the major achievements about your professional journey? Also, what is the future roadmap that you wish to implement in 5th Element?
The most significant professional achievement which catapulted me into global recognition is when I got my NLP certification courses accredited by ICF in 2014. I was suddenly flooded with messages from many Global leaders in the world of NLP acknowledging this as an unprecedented achievement not just for myself, but the world of NLP.
My vision is that every human being is living a life they own themself, that you own your life fully, you own your profession, you own your business, you own your time, and you own your choices. What this means is that each day, when you wake up and proceed with your day, you do so with a feeling that this is your choice, you are doing this because you want to and not because you have to, not because of any compulsion. You are living a life of possibilities and not one of necessities.
