Give a brief note about your professional journey and what keeps you going today.
Since my university days, I've wanted to be a part of India's aim of being a self-sufficient global manufacturing hub. Following my engineering and master's degrees from the United Kingdom, I joined a manufacturing company and worked in numerous key areas in leadership roles such as Project Management, IT Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Business Development and Sales Management. I am currently employed by Custiv as a Director and Business Head for the Fabrication Business Vertical, where
we collaborate with MSME fabricators to fulfil large volume EPC and OEM orders for Steel Structures, Turnkey PEB Works, General & Technological Structures, and Equipment & Pressure Parts for Steel Plants, Power Plants, Process Industries, Metro Projects, Rail & Bridge Construction Projects.

Custiv Manufacturing Solutions, a Global High Growth VC-funded B2B Fabrication Contract Manufacturer caters to the manufacturing, fabrication, and turnkey requirements of EPCs, OEMs, and PSUs through their Own, Leased, Joint Venture and MOU Manufacturing Units and Consortiums on a PAN-India and Global basis for improved project management and supply chain solutions. Tell us about your learning experience from IIM Rohtak. What are the major lessons you have inculcated from the institute and carried in your professional journey to date?
It was indeed a great learning experience pursuing my masters in IIM Rohtak. The blend of practical reallife case studies and theoretical concepts has assisted me in developing business strategies, coming up with disruptive business ideas, and making decisions on the implementation of new trends and technology in the manufacturing arena.

Describe your leadership style and what has been your success mantra.
We practice inclusive and collaborative leadership within our organization and encourage equal participation of all our stakeholders and host regular think tank meetings for achieving Kaizen (continuous improvement) which has been our success mantra. We also practice OKR (Objectives and Key Results) methodology which is a goal setting framework to define measurable goals and track their outcomes.
Under your director ship what is the technology framework running in the company’s operations and products?
We distinguish ourselves from other B2B manufacturing platforms by building and implementing our proprietary real-time tech enabled Web and Mobile applications for enhanced project and supply chain management services right from sourcing sub contracting, material management, production planning, logistics management, in process quality checks, expedition, reporting and analysis for easier and timely project completion and cost cutting. We also offer first-of-their-kind services like 3D Design, Engineering & Reverse Engineering, Laser Scanning, and 3D Viewing for all the structures we build based on our customer specifications.
Where are you headed in the next five years and what are the impacts you strive to create through your future goals?
As a long term and strategic plan, we intend to build factories and warehouses in strategic locations across India's four zones. We also plan to establish ourselves as a product based company by developing our own products and brands for distinctive industrial products with our own proprietary design and value chain addressing domestic and global needs.
