What was your most transformative learning experience at Symbiosis University?
My early years at Symbiosis were truly transformative because they blended practical exposure with theoretical learning. Industry professionals and academics offered valuable insights, while the university encouraged active participation in sports, debates, and public speaking. These experiences shaped my values, built confidence, and taught me the importance of holistic growth beyond academics.
How would you describe the opportunities Symbiosis provides regarding global exposure and networking?
Symbiosis offers a truly global and multi -cultural environment that reflects its founding vision of growth through diversity. Interacting with students from different countries and cultures broadened my perspective on academic, economic, and social norms. This exposure was invaluable in developing sensitivity, tolerance, and adaptability, qualities that
continue to guide me in both professional and personal life.
How did your experience foster a sense of responsibility and commit- ment to societal betterment?
The university places strong emphasis on extracurricular activities and social awareness. We engaged with NGOs and parti cipated in community initiatives such as surveys on public transportation challenges, creating environmental aware -ness, cleanliness drives in local areas etc. Such experiences instilled a sense of responsibility in me and strengthened my belief that we can all play a role in improving the communities we live in.
How accessible was the faculty during your time at Symbiosis International?
The faculty at Symbiosis International was always approachable and supportive, from the principal to assistant professors, they were willing to guide us both during and after class hours.
What I valued most was the way they helped me transition from a science to a commerce background, giving personal attention and encouragement. Their mentorship went beyond academics, often extending into extracurricular activities, which made a lasting impact on my learning journey.
What career opportunities are avail -able for individuals emerging from Symbiosis University?
Symbiosis provides a comprehensive education across disciplines such as liberal arts, science, commerce, and management. With its wide network of institutes, the career opportunities are immense.
In commerce and law especially, Symbiosis has a strong reputation, with leading organizations actively recruiting from its campuses. For students, I believe the real key is to combine academics with intern ships and industry exposure.
These experiences help in making informed career choices and in maximizing the opportunities that come during the formative years.
What is the one memory that stands out from your time at the university?
Being admitted to Symbiosis itself was a proud milestone, but one memory that stands out vividly is representing the college in an intercollegiate elocution competition.
Speaking on a piece by Anton Chekhov and securing first place was a defining moment. It not only gave me confidence but also reinforced my interest in oratory, a skill that has continued to play an important role in my career.

Can you share your leadership approach and the methodologies you follow?
Over the past two decades, I have seen how rapidly people adapt to change, especially with technology acting as both a disruptor and an enabler. As a leader, I place equal importance on intelligence, performance, ethics, and values.
My approach is to empower others by delegating responsibility and offering guidance when required, rather than micromanaging. I believe leadership is about building trust, creating space for people to grow, and supporting them with direction and course correction when needed.
What advice would you offer to aspiring leaders in the field?
My advice is to stay authentic and embrace your true self. When individuals accept who they are, both personally and professionally, they gain clarity about their strengths, values, and areas for growth.
This self-awareness helps them perform at their best. As leaders our role is to create an environment where others feel empowered to reach their full potential.
What are your future goals that you’re looking forward to?
The future holds many exciting possibilities. Earlier in my career, I set personal milestones that helped shape my journey. Now, my focus is less on individual goals and more on contributing to the profession and to society at large.
With technology, particularly artificial intelligence and machine learning, reshaping our industry, I see tremendous opportunities for innovation, scalability, and greater impact.
While the profession will need to adapt to these changes, I remain optimistic about its ability to diversify, stay relevant, and continue creating value worldwide.
