Over the past 35 years, Nagesh has held leadership positions across multiple industries, including automobiles, chemicals, FMCG, consumer electronics, power technology, and aerospace & defense with
responsibilities spanning India, Europe and the United States.

While each sector broadened his pers -pective, the aerospace industry profoundly influenced his leadership philosophy by reinforcing the importance of disciplined execution uncompromising quality, relia -bility, customer trust, and enduring global partnerships.

Your career spans multiple engineering and manu- facturing sectors. Which experiences have been most instrumental in preparing you to lead complex aerospace opera- tions?

Throughout my career, I have learned that technical expertise alone is never enough to achieve sustainable success. Aerospace demands engineering discipline, uncom -promising quality, complete traceability, and flawless execution. Equally important are leadership, collaboration, empowered teams, and strong customer relationships.

Working across industries and geographies has shown me that global competitiveness comes from combining standardized processes with agility, innovation, and account ability. These experiences have shaped my leadership philosophy of building customer-centric organizations that embrace continuous improvement and operational excellence.

SASMOS has established itself as a trusted aerospace and defense partner. What strategic priorities have driven the company's growth and global reputation?

SASMOS has earned its reputation through engineering excellence robust manufacturing capabilities, consistent quality and long-term customer partner -ships. I joined the company as Chief Operating Officer, focusing on operational excellence, manufacturing performance, and organizational capability.

Today, as President – International Business Development & Corporate Strategy, my focus is on expanding our global footprint building strategic partnerships, and driving long-term growth. Our vision is to transform SASMOS into a professionally managed global enterprise with strong governance, scalable systems, innovation, account ability, and an unwavering customer-centric culture.

The aerospace industry is evolving rapidly. Which trends do you believe will have the greatest impact on its future?

I believe the industry's future will be shaped by supply-chain diversi -fication, Industry 4.0
AI-enabled manufacturing, localization, and sustain ability. These developments are redefining how aerospace products are designed manufactured and deli -vered.

India has a significant opportunity to emerge as a preferred global aerospace manufacturing hub by leveraging its engineering talent strengthening resilient supplychains, and maintaining world-class quality standards.

Organizations that successfully combine technology innovation and manufacturing excellence will be best positioned to lead the next phase of industry growth.

Precision and reliability are fundamental in aerospace manufacturing. How does SASMOS consistently deliver quality and long-term value to custo -mers world wide?

What is your long-term vision for SASMOS, and how do you see the company contributing to India's global aerospace ambitions?

My vision is to establish SASMOS as one of the world's most respected aerospace and defense solutions providers. We are expanding our presence across India, Europe, Morocco, and North America while working toward building a diversified business portfolio with the ambition of achieving a USD 1 billion order backlog by 2030.

Beyond growth I want to build a professionally managed organization driven by accountability, innovation, continuous learning, and customer-centricity. I believe India is well positioned to become a global aerospace leader, and SASMOS aims to contribute through world-class engineering, advanced manu- facturing, global partnerships and uncompromising quality.
