Give Us A Brief Detail About Your Educational Background And Professional Background. How Has It Helped You In Your Journey So Far? What Inspired You To Establish Golchha Computer?
I am an MBA Graduate from Christ College, Bangalore, passed out in the year of 93, then joined my family business under the name of Golchha Inter Trade, who was into Plastic & Electronics Import. Initially I wasn't excited about the profession as the IT sector was an upcoming industry. I later started Golchha Computers in the month of Sept of 1993.
The move from Imports and Manufacturing of Electrical Equipements to Solutions for IT, Pro Audio and Pro Video was one of the best things that ever happened as my interest lay in it. And today we stand here as one of the Biggest Names in the Retail of IT Solutions. As I mentioned earlier, I wasn't much interested in what my father was into, Hence I started IT Solutions as I had a huge love for IT and knew I could succeed despite the hurdles.
What Are The Strategies/Methods You Put Forward To Align Your Organization With Your Vision And Mission? How Does Your Vast Experience Help You To Chalk Out Business Operations For The Company?
Hard work, Intense drilling, learning, a lot of experimentation. I had started a lot of smaller businesses
to satisfy my ego and succeeded and pushed myself to understand my own limits.
I started as a clerk, then scaled as a salesman, later on I was allowed to start deciding on the products to import and to start my own chain of businesses to experiment. I've roamed door to door to sell my own imports or products just like any other salesman and have done a lot more than I can probably explain in just mere words.
Asfar as what I've learnt so far is to leave certain things to time. Change is a necessity for any business to grow, change is tough but has to be accepted. The ability to adapt with current time and trends will lead to a successful business. Due to the nature of business, it allows us to be flexible enough to change in certain ways.
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge During Your Initial Days Of Professional Journey? How Did You Manage To Overcome It?What Are Various Services And Solutions Provided By Golchha Inter Trade?
Every day is a struggle and a hurdle. You need to strive to exceed your achievements and overcome the failures of yesterday, strategize and implement it today for a better tomorrow. Initially it was the Lack of proper knowledge, as I had to learn everything by myself. There was no competition to compare myself with different reference. I had to do a lot of R&D, Succeed and Fail constantly, to get up and move forward with those experiences and slowly grow that was my only goal. I had my father who I used to look up to, but he was a proud man, who was a strict teacher. He was rich, and successful, and wanted me to learn the process from the most basic stepping stone of being a man. After accomplishing that, then to start building bridges and stairs till I learnt to grow to who I'm today, but tomorrow is uncertain, so I strive every day to be the best of what I was Yesterday.

I stay updated with latest technologies through my children, the internet, our customers, clientele and a very knowledge able base of business associates.
Growth of the business since the Inception has seen the Sigma Waves, and then some times, the Inclination Line that slowly goes up. But that is how it should be as it shows a perfect learning balance through circular paths where you come back and correct what's wrong and then go straight up. When in confusion, go back to basics, and pick up. Something that most people are scared to do. Risks are involved in any business, but when you reach a certain point where you see yourself not growing a lot it's always good to circle back to the basics and start again with new perception. That does affect the ongoing business a bit, but that is just short term. In the long run, it is very helpful. Growth gets faster that way.
