Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer

The WellnessTech industry is redefining the future of healthcare by shifting the focus from reactive treatment to preventive, personalized, and technology-enabled well-being. In this rapidly expanding landscape, the role of a Chief Growth Officer extends far beyond driving revenue.

It involves identifying emerging societal needs, building scalable business models, fostering innovation, and creating sustainable growth while ensuring that offerings deliver measurable human impact.

Driving this transformation is Sanjay Singh, CoFounder & Chief Growth Officer, MHITR, whose professional journey spans nearly three decades across global consulting, enterprise technology, business transformation, and operations leadership.

Having held senior leadership roles at McKinsey&Co., Oracle, and Genpact, he has worked with organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, leading global teams and large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple geographies.

These experiences reinforced his belief that sustainable business success is ultimately built on people, not technology alone. While leading high-performing global teams, Sanjay witnessed first-hand the growing challenges of stress, burnout, anxiety, and emotional fatigue among professionals. At the same time, he noticed the increasing need for preventive support for India's large and rapidly growing elderly population.

MHITR brings together multiple wellness disciplines under one technology-driven platform. What gap in the healthcare and wellness ecosystem motivated you to create this integrated model?

I believe the biggest gap in healthcare today is fragmentation. Physical healthcare, mental wellness, fitness, counselling, and preventive care all exist in separate silos, leaving individuals to navigate multiple providers and platforms on their own. Most interventions also begin only after a problem has become serious, therefore reactive in nature.
At MHITR, we wanted to change that by creating a single, integrated ecosystem that combines mental, emotional, physical, cognitive, and behavioral wellness. By blending evidence-based healthcare with practices like yoga, and pranayama, we aim to deliver holistic, preventive, and accessible wellness that supports the individual as a whole.

As Chief Growth Officer, what have been the defining milestones in MHITR's growth journey, and what strategic decisions played the biggest role in achieving them?

My growth philosophy has always been centered on building solutions that are repeatable and scalable through mass-customization. One of our most important strategic decisions was shifting from a B2C model to a B2B approach, allowing us to work with schools, universities, hospitals, and senior living communities more effectively.

We also invested heavily in proprietary technologies and solutions, including AI-powered wellness tools, such as MiBuddy, SEL Lab, and the Vayofit Wellness Kit, creating strong intellectual property. Equally important was our decision to focus only on differentiated offerings while expanding through regional partnerships that support sustainable, long-term growth.

The conversation around mental and emotional wellness is evolving rapidly. How is MHITR positioning itself to stay ahead of emerging trends while creating measurable impact for individuals and organizations?

For me, innovation only matters when it solves a genuine human problem. At MHITR, we follow an assessment-led approach that establishes baseline wellness scores and tracks measurable improvements over time across emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and physical health.

We complement expert-led interventions with AI-powered tools that improve accessibility without replacing human care. Our research involving nearly 200,000 students and over 18,000 elderly individuals further strengthens our evidence-based approach.

By combining data, technology, and scientific validation, we ensure our solutions create measurable improvements in resilience, productivity, and overall quality of life.
In a purpose-driven organization, sustaining both business growth and social impact requires a unique leadership approach. How do you cultivate a culture that balances innovation, empathy, and execution?

My leadership philosophy has always been people-first. I believe in empowering individuals, encouraging ownership, and creating an environment where teams can innovate without fearing failure.

At MHITR, every initiative begins with one simple question—how will this improve someone's life? Once that purpose is clear, execution naturally becomes more meaningful. We balance empathy with accountability by measuring outcomes while remaining focused on human impact.

Collaboration across psychologists, techno -logists, educators, physiotherapists, and business professionals ensures diverse thinking, while continuous learning helps us remain adaptable in an ever-evolving WellnessTech landscape.

With several players entering the digital wellness space what differentiates MHITR's approach, and how do you ensure that innovation continues to create meaningful value for your stakeholders?

What differentiates MHITR is our integrated ecosystem and strong focus on proprietary innovation. Rather than aggregating existing wellness services, we build our own AI-powered platforms, assessment tools, and evidence-based intervention models designed specifically for preventive emotional wellness.

Every innovation begins with understanding a real human need instead of simply adopting new technology. By combining scientific research, measurable outcomes, multi -disciplinary expertise, and preventive care, we ensure our solutions create lasting value for students, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and senior citizens while continuously evolving with changing wellness needs.
