As CFO, how do you strike the right balance between financial discipline and business agility to drive sustainable growth?
For me, financial discipline starts with strong cash flow management. I closely monitor cash inflows and outflows while ensuring that well-defined financial and credit policies are consistently followed. At the same time, a growing business needs flexibility to respond quickly to market opportunities.
By maintaining a healthy balance between liquidity, risk management, and strategic investments I ensure that the organization remains agile without compromising financial stability. Sustainable growth can only be achieved when financial discipline and business agility work together as comp -lementary forces.
How do you align financial planning with operational efficiency and long-term business objectives in the industrial and engineering sector?
In an industrial environment, financial planning cannot operate in isolation from business operations. At BF Industrial Technology & Solutions, our expansion plans are carefully aligned with operational requirements, available resources, and projected cash flows. I focus on maintaining adequate working capital and balancing inflows and outflows to support uninterrupted operations.
This integrated approach allows us to fund growth initiatives while ensuring opera -tional efficiency. By linking financial decisions with business priorities, we are able to support the long-term objectives and create a sustainable platform for future growth.
What is your approach to capital allocation and investment decisions in a capital intensive business environment?
Every investment decision must contribute to long term profitability and value creation. Our capital allocation process begins with annual business planning supported by market research and strategic analysis. We carefully evaluate oppor -tunities based on expected returns, operational benefits, and business priorities.
While growth remains an important objective, financial prudence is always at the core of our decision-making. By allocating resources to projects that strengthen competitiveness and profit -ability we ensure that investments support both

What strategies do you follow to build and mentor a resilient finance team capable of navigating changing market conditions?
Building a strong finance team requires a combination of accountability, discipline, and continuous development. I currently lead a team comprising AVP, finance managers, senior executives and accounting pro -fessionals.
Responsibilities are assigned based on expertise and business requirements, while performance is monitored closely. I encourage a culture of ownership and operational discipline, particularly in areas such as cost control and compliance.
By empowering team members and maintaining strong oversight, we create a resilient finance function that can effectively adapt to evolving market and regulatory challenges. Alongside finance activities, I lead the administrative management of plant operations to ensure efficiency and accountability.
What is your long-term vision as a CFO, and what advice would you offer aspiring finance pro- fessionals?
My immediate focus is on achieving our targeted growth objectives while ensuring financial stability and operational excellence. Looking ahead, I believe finance leaders must become strategic business partners who contribute beyond traditional accounting functions.
For aspiring professionals, my advice is to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance, understand internal control systems thoroughly, and develop a disci -plined approach to monitoring business performance.
Continuous learning, attention to detail, and effective cost management are critical skills that will help future finance leaders succeed in India's evolving indus-trial landscape.
