How have been your industrial experiences that paved way for the establishment of SB Constructions?
Enkindled by my father’s long-standing association with the construction industry as well as my personal inclination, I embarked onto this realm after my graduation and presently cherish around 7-8 years of experience in the same. Over this tenure, I accomplished numerous construction projects spanning sectors like National
establishing its sister company, Babu Infra Project Pvt. Ltd., the firm has expanded its construction projects into many categories and is continuing the same today. Highways, PWD, and Irrigation and also for Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Post working for these organizations, I realized that thousands of graduates from engineering and other backgrounds were not getting employed and hence, I laid the foundation for SB Constructions to curb this increasing unemployment. I believed that my firm would create happy and better livelihoods devoid of any trouble for this bracket of people while envisioning to bag success only through hard work and dedication.

What were the major hurdles that you were posed with while executing the construction projects?
People in the present days live by the misconception that construction industry is merely entitled with bulk profits and do not recognize the boundless hurdles involved in the development process. For instance, when we took up the road construction project of Odisha

Government at an infamous area in Sambalpur that witnessed multiple dacoities, robberies and murders for almost eight years, we had to face endless obstacles. But gradually we conquered those obstacles due to the extensive protection from the Government, local administration and police department and successfully completed the project.

Could you brief on how you align your firm in accordance with the evolving advancements in the industry? What is the future roadmap set for SB Constructions?
We are currently dealing with an eminent company specialized in bitumen and other petroleum products to garner their insights and also deploy their products in our construction projects so that we can upgrade our work to a higher level. In addition, we are also hiring highly knowledgeable technicians and engineers besides employing sophisticated machineries to make the work conditions more stable and accomplish projects without any difficulties. Foreseeing the global water scarcity issues, we are dealing with Mallar Group of Industries who presented us a solution of saving much water with just a chemical that is already being utilized at many northern parts of India.

Our future roadmap is carved towards associating with MSMEs and startups to generate more employment opportunities for the younger and upcoming generations. Also, we are honing ourselves to accumulate more tenders from potential clients.
