Siddhant Bansal
Director
Growing up around machines, reels, and the familiar scent of fresh paper, Siddhant absorbed the rhythm of the business from childhood. What began with observing evolved into hands-on learning and eventually leading. Inspired by his grandfather’s discipline and deep commitment, he embraced the responsibility of modernizing a traditional manufacturing setup. Today, he focuses on automation, digital systems, and efficiency driven practices, working toward his vision of establishing Shree Bhageshwari Papers as one of India’s most trusted paper export organizations.
What have been the most transformative learning experiences during your time at S P Jain?
My time at S P Jain was a turning point in the way I think as a leader. The mentorship I received from professors like Parimal Merchant, Samish Dalal, and Jaishankar Thalreja helped me understand my family business from a sharper, more strategic lens. Their clarity, experience, and practical approach influenced many of the decisions I make today.
The industrial exposure across Singapore, Korea, Japan, Dubai, and India was equally transformative. Witnessing robots in action during our Japan visit completely changed my understanding of automation. Watching the live manufacturing of the Kia EV6 in Korea was another unforgettable moment, seeing such precision, speed, and engineering excellence first hand strengthened my interest in modern production systems. These experiences continue to inspire the automation and digital transformation initiatives I am implementing at Shree Bhageshwari Papers.
How did the institute sharpen your entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen?
At S P Jain, entrepreneurship wasn’t just taught, it was experienced. Every lesson was connected to real business challenges. Learning about automation and process optimization helped me bridge the gap between theory and
practical application in my own company.
The business simulations, case studies, and IDP projects pushed me to think critically, make decisions under pressure, and evaluate the long-term impact of each move. These exercises strengthened my analytical skills, leadership instincts, and confidence in driving large-scale improvements.
They taught me how to streamline operations, enhance productivity, manage costs, and lead with clarity, skills that directly support the growth and modernization of Shree Bhageshwari Papers.
How accessible was the faculty at S P Jain?
The faculty were incredibly accessible and supportive. Whether it was a question after class, a message seeking clarity, or guidance on a project, they were always available. Their feedback was immediate, practical, and rooted in real-world experience, which made learning meaningful and relevant.
Guest lectures from industry leaders further enriched the learning environment. Their insights helped connect classroom knowledge to real business scenarios, making the academic journey well-rounded and deeply impactful.
How have you leveraged the alumni network during and after your studies?
The alumni network has been one of the most valuable aspects of my journey. As a student, I found alumni approachable and willing to share guidance, experiences, and connections. After graduating, the network became even more powerful.
I’ve reached out to alumni across industries and countries, and the response has always been supportive. Whether it was exploring international markets, seeking insights, or discussing new opportunities, someone was always willing to help. It truly feels like being part of a global family, one that continues to open doors long after graduation.
What is one memory that stands out most from your time at S P Jain?
