Netflix, one of the synonyms of video entertainment today, was founded in 1997 with a business model akin to Blockbuster, a US-based movie & video game rental services company. Back then, Netflix's pay-per-rental model included DVD sales and rent-by-mail services. But unlike Blockbuster LLC, Netflix anticipated the revolutionary transformation in customer demand with rising digitalization and started providing online entertainment. You know the rest. Netflix wiped out Blockbuster, and the movie rental industry entirely. If the company collected data through sources like Customer ID, movie ID, and ratings, and date & time of watching, it later underwent a CRM deployment and took no time to emerge as the synonym of video entertainment.

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi (IIT BHU) is a public technical university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1919 as the Banaras Engineering College, it became the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1968, while it was designated an Indian Institute of Technology in 2012. Located inside the Banaras Hindu University Campus, IIT (BHU) Varanasi in total has 16 departments, three inter-disciplinary schools and one Humanities & Social Sciences section.
IIT (BHU) Varanasi has formerly been known as the Banaras Engineering College (BENCO), the College of Mining and Metallurgy (MINMET), the College of Technology (TECHNO) and the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU). Its establishment is intimately linked with that of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU).Thanks to the foresight of its founder, Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya, IIT (BHU) Varanasi has the credit of first starting degree classes in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy and Pharmaceutics. Under his guidance, today it has grown to become a premier technical institute, giving around 50 thousand degrees and currently leading the nation with a strength of more than 7000 people.
The institute has been involved in many great works that's uplifting the country's growth statures. Recently, the news had it that IIT-BHU has initiated research activities to overcome the internet availability limitation or absence of internet by establishing a LoRaWAN facility on the campus for research purposes. Moreover, IIT-BHU is looking forward to collaborate with the National Science Foundation (NSF), US for strengthening US-India comprehensive global strategic partnership. Also, IIT BHU's alumnus have been doing wonders in the field of technology today, leveraging their learned prowess across the globe heading global organizations or entrenching recognized firms for the great purpose resolution of the present technology and industry needs. Be it They have marked a niche in tech innovations from Google to HCL to startups. And, the list of such doyens can be a long read.
