
Adani Defence & Aerospace Partners, Prime Aero to Acquire Stake in Indamer Technics

A definitive agreement has been reached by Adani Defence & Aerospace and Prime Aero to purchase a 100 percent share in Indamer Technics Private Limited (ITPL), one of the top private-sector Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) firms in India.
The company will be acquired through Horizon Aero Solutions Limited, a 50/50 joint venture between Prajay Patel's Prime Aero and Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited (ADSTL).
ITPL is situated in the Mihan Special Economic Zone of Nagpur. The 30-acre greenfield site was constructed in accordance with international aviation standards. Ten hangars house fifteen airplane bays. ITPL provides both Indian and foreign clients with services like lease return checks, heavy C-checks, structural repairs, and aircraft painting. It is approved by the DGCA, FAA (USA), and other international agencies.
“The Indian aviation industry has witnessed an unprecedented transformation, becoming the 3rd largest in terms of passenger traffic. With the Indian carriers set to induct more than 1500 aircraft in the coming years, we are on the cusp of a new era in aviation” said Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airports.

According to Jeet Adani, director of Adani Airports, the acquisition was made to establish India as a leading international MRO hub. Notably, ITPL is a key player in the MRO industry since Indian carriers are anticipated to add 1,500 aircraft in the upcoming years.
Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO of ADSTL, described it as a significant milestone that will improve capabilities alongside Air Works and solidify the company's position as the biggest private-sector MRO operator in the nation.
