Air India Partners WestJet for Connectivity Across North America

Air India has established an interline agreement with WestJet to enhance the connectivity between India and North America.
This partnership allows travelers to seamlessly book single-ticket itineraries that involve both airlines.

The agreement permits passengers traveling with Air India to Toronto and Vancouver to seamlessly transfer to WestJet flights heading to over 30 destinations in both Canada and the US.
The collaboration encompasses synchronized baggage services and efficient transfers designed to elevate the overall travel journey.
According to the agreement, travelers have the opportunity to visit 17 Canadian destinations and 14 cities in the US. The Canadian cities that can be reached include Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, and Halifax, while the US connections encompass cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
Nipun Aggarwal, the chief commercial officer of Air India, emphasized the significant role that Canada plays as a key market for the airline due to robust bilateral relations and increasing trade activities. He highlighted the airline's strategic partnership with the goal of enhancing the accessibility and convenience of travelers by offering an expanded network and seamlessly integrated travel services.
John Weatherill, the executive vice-president and chief commercial officer of the WestJet Group, highlighted the significant enhancement of connectivity between India and Canada through the interline agreement.
This partnership merges the extensive long-haul network of Air India with the widespread regional coverage of WestJet, resulting in improved accessibility throughout North America.

At present, Air India provides a total of 17 direct flights to Canada each week, comprising of 10 flights to Toronto and seven to Vancouver.
Moreover, the airline provides 75 weekly flights to various European cities that allow passengers to connect to WestJet flights heading to Canada. These destinations include 49 flights to London Heathrow, five flights to London Gatwick, 14 flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle, and seven flights to Amsterdam Schiphol.

Itineraries for connecting flights through the partnership can be reserved through Air India's website, mobile app, and various travel agents worldwide.
