At the organizational level, Pirojsha Godrej has been appointed Chairperson Designate and will officially take over as Chairperson of Godrej Industries Group and Godrej Industries Limited on August 14, 2026.

He will maintain his current leadership positions as Chairperson of Godrej Properties, Godrej Capital, and Godrej Ventures.

Reflecting on the changeover, Pirojsha characterized it as an honor and obligation, underscoring the importance of upholding the group's heritage while remaining true to its fundamental principles.

The transition is a result of the planned departure of the current Chairperson Nadir Godrej, who will assume the title of Chairman Emeritus upon reaching the age of 75 in August 2026.

During that time, he will also resign from the boards of Godrej Industries Limited, Godrej Agrovet, Godrej Consumer Products, and Godrej Properties.

Nadir Godrej reflected on his time in office, stating that it had been an honor to serve the group for many years and expressed confidence in the upcoming generation of leaders to sustain growth while maintaining the organization's values.

In a larger reorganization effort, Burjis Godrej will assume the role of Chairperson at Godrej Agrovet and will become a Non-Executive Director on the board of Godrej Industries Limited starting on August 14, 2026. He has resigned as Managing Director of Astec LifeSciences with immediate effect, but will continue his involvement with the company as a Non-Executive Director.
