Gunjan Srivastava Joins MIRC Electronics as CEO & MD
Gunjan Srivastava, formerly the Chief Executive Officer of BSH India and BSH UK & Ireland, has recently assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at MIRC Electronics Ltd.
This Indian consumer electronics company, with a reputable 45-year history and ownership of the renowned Onida brand, has entrusted Gunjan with the crucial responsibility of orchestrating a strategic transformation to rejuvenate the brand's standing in the Indian market.

Gunjan had a successful tenure of nearly 12 years at BSH Home Appliances, starting in the role of CEO for BSH India before transitioning to the position of CEO for BSH UK & Ireland.
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Gunjan says, “After almost 12 years at BSH Home Appliances, starting as the CEO of BSH India and finishing as CEO of BSH UK & Ireland, it’s time for me to move on to another very exciting turnaround entrepreneurial journey in transforming Mirc Electronics Ltd. in India”.
Throughout his time with the company, he demonstrated adeptness in establishing and expanding operations, reinforcing sales and service networks, and elevating brand recognition within various markets.
At MIRC Electronics, Gunjan's primary objective will be to rejuvenate the renowned Onida brand, which has been recognized for its iconic slogan ‘Neighbours envy, Owner's pride’.

Once a leading competitor in India's television and audio industries, Onida has encountered significant challenges in the increasingly competitive landscape of the consumer electronics market with the emergence of strong competition from both domestic and international brands in recent years.
Gunjan's background includes a wealth of expertise in consumer marketing, sales, distribution, business management, strategy, and post-merger integration.
Throughout his professional journey, he has collaborated with renowned companies such as Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Sennheiser Electronics India, Philips Electronics India, and Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited.
His arrival coincides with a period where established Indian consumer electronics companies are aiming to realign their strategies in response to changing consumer trends, technological advancements, and increased competitiveness.
