Airtel Payments Bank Appoints Anubrata Biswas as its New MD & CEO to Push its Digital Reach

In a recent development, Airtel Payments Bank appoints Anubrata Biswas as its Managing Director & CEO, which will help to drive the company’s mission to take convenient and innovative digital banking services to the doorstep of every Indian.

Anubrata brings with him over 17 years of rich experience in the banking sector. He was the Joint General Manager and Retail Business Head – South India for ICICI Bank and was responsible for managing the retail banking business across over 550 branches of the bank.

Anubrata has held various senior level positions both in India and abroad; he was the Retail Banking Head of ICICI Bank UK, NRI and Remittances Head of ICICI Bank.
