Amardeep Singh Named COO of Omnicom Media India

Amardeep Singh has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer of Omnicom Media India, which is a significant enhancement to the company's senior leadership team during a time of significant organizational changes.
Singh, an experienced media and digital advertising professional, has over 20 years of experience in the field.
Before his current role, he was the CEO of Interactive Avenues, the digital division of IPG Mediabrands, and later oversaw the overall operations of IPG Mediabrands in India.

During his tenure, Interactive Avenues expanded significantly over the last 10 years, making it one of the leading digital agencies in the country. Singh played a crucial role in the growth and successful integration of the business within the IPG Mediabrands network.
Singh started his professional journey at Bennett, Coleman and Co. before establishing Interactive Avenues. He also served important positions at Mediaturf Worldwide and Rediff.com. Singh earned a degree in electronics from St Joseph's College, Bangalore, and later pursued a postgraduate degree in marketing and finance from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune.
Singh has been appointed at a time when Omnicom Media Group (OMG) is experiencing significant organizational changes after acquiring Interpublic Group (IPG) for $13 billion. In addition to Singh's appointment, Kartik Sharma, an experienced professional in the industry, has been named as the CEO of Omnicom Media India. Sharma, who became a part of Omnicom in 2020, will be reporting to Tony Harradine, the CEO of Omnicom Media APAC.

Sharma's promotion has attracted the attention of the industry, but Singh's appointment as COO is also considered crucial due to his extensive knowledge in digital transformation, which is a top priority for Omnicom as it incorporates new capabilities and expands its client base.
Singh is anticipated to have a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and boosting growth throughout the network, as Omnicom Media India acquired more than 10 significant clients in 2025, totaling over $40 million in value.
Appointments for Mediahub and Hearts & Science will be revealed at a later time. Out of the four confirmed presidents, Kingston-Brown and Flouch are both located in the UK. Flouch, who previously held the position of chief client officer at PHD Worldwide, is the only appointee lacking prior CEO experience.
Industry analysts view Sharma's promotion as a tactical decision to strengthen the operations of Omnicom Media India during a critical period. As India becomes one of the rapidly expanding advertising markets worldwide, maintaining leadership stability and actively acquiring new clients are essential goals for the company.
