Amaresh Godbole Named CEO of Publicis Digital Experience India

Publicis Groupe India has named Amaresh Godbole as the chief executive officer of Publicis Digital Experience (PDX) India, positioning him to lead the newly integrated digital, technology, and experience-focused initiatives within the company. Amaresh, as the head of PDX India, will also be responsible for the important role of leading the AI experiences and solutions division for Publicis Groupe India.

This signifies the crucial impact that artificial intelligence will have on the network's growth strategy moving forward. By assuming this dual role, he will become a pivotal player in driving the adoption of AI in various client projects, including customer experience, commerce, CRM, and marketing technology.

Amaresh's selection occurs during a period in which Publicis Groupe is restructuring its operations in India to meet the increasing client need for holistic, results-oriented digital change.

In his role as CEO of PDX India, he will be responsible for supervising the amalgamated capabilities of Digitas India, Razorfish India, and Indigo Consulting, organizing specialized skills in social media, artificial intelligence, customer relationship management, and technology within a unified leadership framework.

Publicis stated that the change in leadership is a result of the growing intersection of marketing, data, and technology. Clients are now looking for partners who can utilize AI not only as a tool but also as a long-term competitive edge throughout the customer experience.

Amaresh's expanded role in overseeing AI experiences and solutions highlights the company's commitment to integrating artificial intelligence extensively across all platforms, procedures, and business results.

Amaresh will oversee the scaling of applied AI adoption, advancement of agentic workflows, and enhancement of the company's position in middle- and post-funnel growth solutions for both B2B and B2C clients, with the support of over 500 specialists at PDX India.

 

Publicis Groupe India has a presence in eight cities and operates under a unified 'Power of One' framework, blending creative, media, digital, data, and technology expertise.
