Amitabh Dewan to Drive Growth Strategies as Head of Corporate Risk at PBFB
Amitabh Dewan has been appointed as the head of the large corporate risk business at Policybazaar For Business (PBFB). With more than 20 years of experience in general insurance, risk engineering, and loss prevention, Dewan will be responsible for developing growth strategies and business expansion plans for PBFB, aiming to strengthen its presence in the corporate insurance market.
Dewan’s career spans several prestigious organizations, including Howden, Mahindra Insurance Brokers, WTW, and Aon, where he has gained substantial expertise in managing complex and large-scale risks across various industries such as pharma, FMCG, manufacturing, energy, renewable energy, and construction projects. He has worked extensively with global carriers and insurers across the US, Europe, Australia, and the MENA region, structuring multiple high-value deals and fulfilling capacity requirements in international markets.
