Anil Valluri Takes Charge of Palo Alto Networks' Regional VP for India & SAARC Region

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) has appointed Anil Valluri as Regional Vice President for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. Anil will be based in Bangalore.

The appointment is with immediate effect. “As we continue to advance our cybersecurity leadership in the region and help organizations navigate their digital transformation, I am pleased to welcome Anil Valluri to Palo Alto Networks,” said Simon Green, President, Japan and Asia Pacific, Palo Alto Networks. “We look forward to his leadership and contributions to our strategy and growth.”

Prior to this role, Anil was with Google in India. Leading the Google Cloud business in India, helping to accelerate enterprises’ cloud transformation. He also spent eight years at NetApp as president for the India and SAARC region, where he played an instrumental role in driving the company's business growth.

Having held leadership positions in leading technology companies, Anil brings with him extensive experience across diverse portfolios from sales to services business to consulting and product management. As part of his mandate, Anil will focus on driving profitable growth and accelerating Palo Alto Networks’ technology footprint across customer segments, creating strategic go-to-market alliances, and scaling the partner ecosystems, while building talent within the Palo Alto Networks ranks in the region.
