Arnab Kumar Appointed by as Director of Business Development by Uber India
Arnab Kumar has been appointed as the Director of Business Development for India and South Asia at Uber, one of India's leading ridesharing apps. He brings over 17 years of experience in the technology and financial services sectors to Uber. Kumar's professional experience includes founding Coinbase's India operations and leading Prosus' (formerly Naspers') India fintech investments and strategic initiatives.
Kumar previously worked as the Programme Director at NITI Aayog, where he helped to develop emerging technology initiatives such as India's Covid contact tracing app, Aarogya Setu. He has also worked for Deutsche Bank in Singapore and New York as an investment banker. Kumar graduated from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra and Indian School of Business Hyderabad.
