Bain & Company Names Nicolas Willemot as Global Head

Bain & Company has announced the appointment of Nicolas Willemot as the Global Head of its Consumer Products division. The action strengthens the company’s dedication to assisting the top consumer goods firms globally in managing disruption and attaining sustainable growth.

In his role as head of Bain's worldwide Consumer Products practice, Nicolas will steer the firm's initiatives to assist clients in speeding up growth in the face of swiftly changing consumer demands, advancing digital and AI integration, and updating operational models for the new age.

"Nicolas is a highly regarded client leader who merges commercial discipline and intellectual capability with a progressive perspective on technology and consumer trends," stated Laura Miles, Bain & Company's chief client officer and global head of industries.

 "He arrives at his new role with a solid history of assisting clients from various sectors and locations." With his guidance, the Consumer Products practice will keep enabling our clients to advance quickly, expand intelligently, and develop more sustainably.

In his new position, Nicolas will promote Bain's vision for the forthcoming age of consumer products leadership, a time when technology and human creativity intersect. He will concentrate on enhancing Bain's initiatives to guide clients through their transformations throughout the process.

Nicolas serves as the Managing Partner for Bain's offices in Amsterdam and Brussels, while also being part of the firm's Consumer Products and Customer practices.

Since becoming part of Bain in 2006, he has spearheaded growth and value enhancement for multiple significant consumer products companies and brands throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Nicolas possesses a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ghent University and a Master's in General Management from Vlerick Business School.

Nicolas takes over from Richard Webster, who has managed Bain's global Consumer Products practice since 2022. Under Richard's guidance, the team achieved remarkable outcomes for consumer products clients facing a series of disruptions such as inflation, supply chain issues, and increasing environmental challenges.
