imgB.Bath, India's first educator-founded Sensory-Safe™ family skincare brand unveiled its baby skincare range at an exclusive event at Green Theory. Bengaluru. The launch introduces products designed to go beyond clean beauty standards. These address an overlooked gap where products may be chemically safe but can still overstimulate developing sensory systems in babies and young children

During two years of intensive R&D, B Bath collaborated with child-development educators, dermatologists, pediatricians, occupational therapists, and sensory-science experts. The formulations were co-created with over 200 families and 72 active parent-child testers. The new product range is specifically designed to minimize sensory triggers in scent, texture, and foaming, helping transform daily care into calmer, safer and more connected family moments.

The launch was anchored by two signature products. The first is the low-foaming Moisturising Wash & Shampoo, which cleans effectively without stripping the skin or overwhelming the senses. The second is the lightweight Nurturing Face & Body Oil, crafted for everyday massage and hydration without triggering sensory discomfort. Alongside these, B.Bath has introduced a wider Baby & Family Essentials range and a Home & Body collection that includes cold-process soaps, whipped butters, and sensory aromatics

Speaking about the new range, Ishwarya lyer, Founder & CEO of B.Bath says, "We saw families switching to 'clean' products to avoid certain preservatives and synthetics. This is mainly replaced with heavy doses of essential oils or plant extracts that can still overstimulate developing senses And then there's the phrase saying 'chemical-free' which is meaningless since even air and water have chemicals. The real question is how much, for whom, and in what sensory context.

"This is a formulation-design challenge that requires both developmental insight and dermatology" She further adds, "At B.Bath, we're not here to compete for just a place on the baby-care shelf.

"With this new range, we're opening a new category for families who want products that feel right not just test safe on paper."

Ganesh Sahasranam, Co-Founder and Manufacturing Advisor of B.Bath says "When new research highlights a better approach or flags a sensory trigger, we have the systems to implement improvements rapidly. This approach will help families receive products that reflect the latest evidence. With my years of experience in manufacturing, sourcing, and nationwide logistics my goal is to ensure that B.Bath products are not only scientifically advanced but also consistently accessible and reliable across India. This commitment allows us to deliver care solutions that evolve with both science and the real needs of parents."
