B.Bath Launches India's Very Own Preventive Dermatology Brand

With one in five Indian children showing signs of barrier-compromised skin or dermatitis, B.Bath announces the launch of India’s first preventive dermatology brand designed for family wellness. Unveiled at an exclusive event at Green Theory, Bengaluru, the brand introduces a proprietary Sensory-Safe™ standard, going beyond chemical safety to address how skincare products interact with developing sensory and neurological systems in babies and children.

During two years of research, B.Bath collaborated with pediatric dermatologists, sensory integration specialists, occupational therapists, and child-development educators. Formulations were co-created with over 200 families and 72 active parent-child testers, combining clinical patch testing with sensory validation. The result is the Sensory-Safe™ Standard, which evaluates products not only for skin barrier safety but also for texture comfort, fragrance tolerance, absorption time, and emotional regulation impact.

B.Bath integrates stringent quality control and ingredient traceability across its supply chain. All formulations are produced in GMP, BIS, ISO, and FDA-aligned facilities, with each batch screened against 1,400+ EU-banned substances. Products are EWG-compliant, dermatologist tested, pediatrician-approved, and pH-balanced. 

Ishwarya Iyer, Founder & CEO of B.Bath says, “Families were switching to 'clean' products to avoid preservatives and synthetics, but these were often replaced with heavy doses of essential oils or botanical extracts that still overstimulated developing senses”.

The launch event in Bengaluru brought together pediatric dermatologists, healthcare professionals, and parenting community leaders. The brand unveiled five dermatologist-tested, pediatrician-approved essentials alongside their body harmonising range for adults.
