BOC Aviation Signs Lease for Four Airbus A320NEO with IndiGo
Singapore-based BOC Aviation Ltd has finalized a finance lease transaction with InterGlobe Aviation Ltd (IndiGo) for four Airbus A320NEO aircraft. Steven Townend, BOC Aviation's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, expressed satisfaction with the deal, emphasizing the company's commitment to supporting IndiGo's expansion strategy with the latest fuel-efficient aircraft technology.
The aircraft, all equipped with CFM LEAP-1A engines, are scheduled for delivery in 2024. Riyaz Peermohamed, IndiGo's Chief Aircraft Acquisition and Financing Officer, welcomed the extended partnership with BOC Aviation, highlighting the crucial role these aircraft will play in facilitating the company's growth plans and strengthening its position in both domestic and international markets.
Peermohamed reaffirmed IndiGo's dedication to providing exceptional travel experiences to customers, stressing that the partnership with BOC Aviation will enable the airline to continue offering affordable, punctual, and hassle-free travel across its extensive network.
