Bridge Stone India Appoints Rajarshi Moitra As Chief Commercial Officer

Tyre maker Bridgestone India announced the appointment of Rajarshi Moitra as ChiefCommercialOfficer. Moitra will look after the consumer, commercial and solutions businesses of the company. More over, the company added, he will also be responsible for supply chain management and all the post production logistics. While ensuring synergies among product offerings this will also consolidate and reinforce market presence across tyre segments.
Additionally, Bridgestone India also appointed Sunil

Puri as head of sustainability. Under this role, Puri will be responsible to cut across functions and bring to life opportunities and green initiatives in areas of new products, raw material usage, retread, and end of life tres.

The appointment assumes significance as sustainability is key to Bridgestone’s business and will now be led by a person with vast knowledge of the tyre business.
