Glassdoor, a global job hunt and recruiting platform, announces the promotion of its President & COO Christian Sutherland-Wong as its CEO. While Glassdoor’s present CEO & Co-Founder Robert Hohman would step down and continue as the company’s chairman.

Robert comments, “Christian is one of the most strategic and thoughtful leaders I've ever known. This promotion is well-deserved as it reflects his day-to-day responsibilities and I have full confidence that Christian will build on the success he’s brought to Glassdoor, doing what’s best for job seekers, employers and our employees,” he adds, “I am extremely proud of what Glassdoor has accomplished and it is well positioned to further disrupt the employment industry”.

Christian joined Glassdoor in 2015 as the vice president & general manager of monetization.
In 2017, he was named as the company’s first COO, and earlier this year, was appointed as the president of Glassdoor. Previously, Christian was associated with LinkedIn and Bain & company. At present, he is a part of the board of Toolworks, an organization that assists candidates having an employment barrier to successfully enter the job market. Christian is passionate about helping the candidates to progress in their careers, acquire new skills, and innovating around the candidate experience.
