Unifi, a synthetic and recycled performance fibers manufacturer, appoints Craig A. Creaturo as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The company’s interim Chief Financial Officer, Christopher A. Smosna will continue in his role as Vice President and Treasurer.

Commenting on the appointment, Tom Caudle, President & Chief Operating Officer, Unifi states, “Craig has over 15 years of experience as an executive leader for finance and accounting teams at businesses with complex manufacturing and global operations. I am confident that Craig will complement our leadership team and that we can leverage Craig's extensive knowledge and skillset, which will be paramount in advancing our strategic initiatives and driving improvement in our domestic and international operations. Before joining Unifi, Craig served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President – Administration at Chromalox, an advanced thermal technologies manufacturing company. Prior to that, he served as CFO of II-VI Incorporated, a publicly traded global leader in engineering materials and opto-electronic components. Craig is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; he holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Grove City College.
