Databricks Names Kamalkanth Tummala as India Country Manager

Databricks has named Kamalkanth Tummala as its new Country Manager for India, positioning him to lead the company's upcoming growth phase in this key global market. 

This announcement coincides with Databricks' decision to allocate US$250 million toward expanding its Indian operations, emphasizing talent cultivation, research and development, and broader corporate adoption of AI and data technologies.

With over twenty years of expertise in technology and business management, Tummala brings valuable experience from his previous leadership positions at Salesforce and Mindtree

His proven track record in managing strategic client relationships and developing industry alliances is anticipated to strengthen Databricks' competitive position in India's increasingly crowded AI and data sector.
