To take advantage of the high demand for luxury residences, real estate giant DLF Ltd plans to introduce new projects valued at more than Rs 17,000 crore this fiscal year.

During the previous fiscal year, DLF offered 7.5 million square feet of space for sale with an estimated potential income of Rs 40,600 crore, the company disclosed in its most recent investor presentation.

In the most recent fiscal year, the company sold 5 million square feet for Rs 19,344 crore.

DLF Ltd had stated at the start of the fiscal year 2024–2025 that the business would open a 37 million square foot space in the medium term, with a possible total income of Rs 1,14,500 crore.

The company stated that approximately 35 percent of this had already been introduced in FY25, with the remaining 15 percent scheduled for launch in FY26.

DLF's ultra-luxurious project, "The Dahlias," with a total saleable area of 4.5 million square feet and a potential sales value of Rs 35,000 crore, was introduced in the fiscal year 2024–2025.

According to DLF, sales bookings totaling Rs 13,744 crore were generated during the previous fiscal year, indicating that the company has received optimistic demand for this project.

"The humbling response to our latest offering underscores our brand's strength and our commitment to customer-centricity. This has resulted in the monetization of approximately 39 per cent of the estimated total sales potential of this project within the first year of its launch," DLF said.

The company's 2024–25 record sales bookings of Rs 21,223 crore represented a 44 percent increase over the previous fiscal year's sales bookings of Rs 14,778 crore.

DLF's net profit increased 39 percent to Rs 1,282.2 crore in the final quarter of 2024–25 from Rs 919.82 crore in the same period the previous year.

Between January and March of the fiscal year 2024–25, total income increased to Rs 3,347.77 crore from Rs 2,316.7 crore during the same period the year before.

During the 2024–25 fiscal year, DLF's net profit climbed from Rs 2,723.53 crore to Rs 4,366.82 crore. In the most recent fiscal year, total income increased to Rs 8,995.89 crore from Rs 6,958.34 crore in the fiscal year 2023–2024.

Based on market capitalization, DLF is the biggest real estate company in India.

Over 185 real estate projects and more than 352 million square feet of development have been made by DLF since its founding.

Including ongoing projects and the identified pipeline, DLF Group has 280 million square feet of development potential across residential and commercial segments.

The group has more than 45 million square feet of annuity assets.
