The DMRC director states, "This will connect all offices and metro stations in Central Vista. This will ply from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm. Metro is considered the most sustainable, environmentally friendly mode. But the metro cannot reach everywhere”.
“So, last-mile options are very important. We have fossil fuel-based options available for last-mile options. I am delighted, and I would like to thank IOCL for providing these H2O buses. Besides being energy efficient, they are environmentally friendly”.
Operating every 30 minutes, one bus will travel in a clockwise direction while the other goes anti-clockwise, serving major government buildings and notable sites such as Kartavya Bhawan, Vigyan Bhawan, Nirman Bhawan, Akbar Road, Baroda House, National Stadium, National Gallery of Modern Art, India Gate, and Seva Teerth metro station, it mentioned.
Travelers can settle their fares using National Common Mobility Card (NCMC), UPI, or cash. DMRC announced that the fare is set at tiered rates of Rs 10 and Rs 15, stating it will manage operations, ticketing, and passenger assistance, while IOCL will supply drivers and hydrogen fuel resources.
