DS Group has revealed intentions to introduce Marriott International’s W Hotels brand in Delhi NCR, signifying the brand's debut in the area and its second location in India following Goa.

The firm plans to allocate approximately Rs.400 crore for the project, which will include 200 rooms and is set to launch in the latter half of 2027. The hotel will be situated near Indira Gandhi International Airport, adjacent to Delhi’s Aerocity hospitality area.

The initiative is a component of DS Group's wider growth strategy in the hospitality industry. The firm stated it intends to enhance its footprint in the market and is focusing on a collection of 10 to 12 hotels by FY29.

DS Group states that the choice to introduce the W Hotels brand to Delhi NCR is motivated by the increasing need for high-end lodging in the airport area, identified as a significant hospitality center in the capital region for business and leisure guests.

The new property will function under the lifestyle-oriented W Hotels brand of Marriott International, which has a presence in various international markets. The hotel in Delhi NCR is anticipated to feature branded social and dining areas that align with the W Hotels concept.

The progress occurs as hotel operators and property owners keep growing in India's upscale hospitality sector, backed by increasing travel demand and constrained supply in various urban areas.
