Equinix Acquires GPX Global Systems Indian Operations

The company’s carrier-neutral edge data center business in India is of two-tier four data centers. The first datacenter opened in Mumbai is of 30,000 sqft facility, while the second datacenter opened lately in Mumbai would be a 60,000 sqft when completely built. Both the datacenters are interconnected with GPX’s Data Center Interconnect network. The company data center provides the largest internet ecosystem in India that includes 12 Telcos, four Internet Exchanges, 130+ ISPs, eight Cloud Service Providers, and all the leading global CDNs and content providers (OTTs) creating an unrivaled internet and cloud ecosystem.
