Exabeam Names Mike Byron as Chief Financial Officer
Exabeam, a leading global cybersecurity firm specializing in AI-driven security operations, has announced the appointment of Mike Byron as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With a wealth of experience in enhancing financial processes and boosting profitability, Byron is set to assist Exabeam in scaling its operations while adapting to the changing needs of its clients.
Bringing over 20 years of experience in managing global finance teams, Byron has a strong background in high-growth SaaS technology companies. He previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Strategic Finance and FP&A at Mimecast, where he was instrumental in the company’s growth post-IPO, led acquisitions, and contributed to its successful $5.8 billion acquisition by private equity firm Permira in 2022. Byron has also served in significant leadership roles at Rapid7, Parexel International, and Millipore Corporation, where he developed financial systems, aligned strategies for operational excellence, and facilitated business growth.

In his new role, he will lead the global financial planning and analysis function, overseeing initiatives to build out the CFO organization, streamline processes, and support the company’s rapid growth.
