FM Logistic India Inaugurates Third Multi Client Facility in Bhiwandi
In India’s largest logistics hub of Bhiwandi, FM Logistic India, subsidiary of FM Logistic- France, initiated its 3rd state-of-the-art Multi Client Facility in the presence of its customers and partners.
Speaking at this milestone moment, Ajit Jangle, Managing Director - FM Logistic India and Loic Delaitre, FM Logistic’s Group Automation Director expressed, “With the inauguration of our 3rd Distribution Centre in Bhiwandi which also houses a Multi-client bonded customs warehouse, we have reiterated our strong presence in India’s logistics domain”.
The new facility is expected to fortify its promise on delivering world-class sustainable omni-channel solutions to customers in the Retail, FMCG, Pharma and Precision Engineering industries.
Covering a massive 7 lakh sq. ft., the facility coincides with international standards, while placing FM Logistic India among the top technology-driven contract logistics companies in the nation.
Enhancing efficiency and responsiveness, the warehouse is housed in proximity with significant consumption centres across Mumbai and Thane.
Within the warehouse premises is a multi-client customs-public bonded section that offers integrated solutions, which is said to be one of the most unique features of the new facility. This feature helps store both bonded and non-products in one place for customers, eliminating the need of managing or moving from a CFA to the warehouse.

An automated co-packing set-up for one of FM Logistic’s premium FMCG customers is also a noteworthy feature of the facility. This innovation meets the dynamic nature of FMCG promotions by enabling execution of promotional offers and successful campaign management available 24/7.
“With this, we are offering integrated, innovative and sustainable value-added solutions”, continued Jangle.
Overall, the warehouse comes with a pantry, medical room for emergencies and creche, including insulation panels set atop roof and walls ensuring temperatures are regulated for good working conditions and CO2 sensors to check the CO2 levels. The facility is certified under the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and has sustainable features such as solar panels, a water treatment plant, sensory LED lighting among others.
“Additionally, the co-packing set-up deployed at this site will help cater to dynamic business requirements while ensuring quality and consistency. We strongly believe that this solution will go a long way in our goal to enhance customer intimacy”, added Jangle.
The momentous occasion was graced by Ajit Jangle and dignitaries from the French Consulate and the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India. The inauguration ceremony was followed by an interactive session on "Warehouse Automation - Leveraging Technology to Future-Proof Your Supply Chain." This session shed light on the pivotal role of automation in ensuring supply chain resilience and sustainability.
