Former Mastercard Europe Prez Launches Global PayTech Ventures

Javier Perez, former President of Mastercard Europe, announces the launch of Global PayTech Ventures (GPT). It is the first venture capital firm focused exclusively on ground-breaking payment technology.

The newly launched venture will invest in paytech startups with differentiated technologies that meet massive market demand within the payment ecosystem. GPT will focus on early stage paytech companies usually looking to raise seed, Series A, or Series B rounds. The venture looks at funding a portion of the round with the opportunity to provide guidance and influence strategic directions.
