Galderma Group Appoints Luigi La Corte as Chief Financial Officer

Galderma Group AG , the leading company in the dermatology sector, today revealed the appointment of Luigi La Corte as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), starting on May 1, 2026.
Luigi La Corte will start at Galderma on April 1 to facilitate a seamless transition with Thomas Dittrich, who has held the CFO position at Galderma since October 2019.
As stated earlier, Thomas will stay with the company until Q2 2026 to facilitate a smooth transition before seeking another senior executive role outside the organization.

Luigi La Corte has over 30 years of global financial leadership experience in both healthcare and consumer sectors. He most recently held the position of CFO at the international pharmaceutical firm Recordati S.p.A from 2019 to 2025, overseeing Group Finance, Investor Relations, Sustainability, and Information Systems. He joined Recordati's Board of Directors in 2022 and remains in that role.

Luigi La Corte has previously occupied various senior finance leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry, including roles at GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, and Alliance Unichem, and was CFO at Pladis Food Group.

In the earlier stages of his career, he also held positions at Bain & Company, PepsiCo, and Procter & Gamble. An Italian citizen, he possesses a Master's degree in Economics from Luiss University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
