GensolGensol Group, a prominent solar and renewable energy firm based in Ahmedabad, has announced the appointment of Ravindra Goyal as its Chief Procurement Officer. In this key role, Goyal will lead the supply chain management efforts across all entities within the Gensol Group, specifically focusing on clean energy and electric mobility domains. Working closely with the leadership team, Goyal's responsibilities include building capacity for efficient and bulk procurement to ensure the timely completion of projects.

With an extensive career spanning 29 years, Goyal brings diverse experience in industries such as solar photovoltaic module manufacturing, solar and wind engineering, procurement and construction projects, battery energy storage systems, and green hydrogen and ammonia. His expertise includes the successful execution of large-scale solar projects for notable entities like NTPC, SECI, Maruti, and Jindal Steel and Power, overseeing projects worth about Rs 17,000 crore and totaling 3,700 MWp.

Goyal, a qualified chartered accountant, has furthered his executive education with programs at the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School. His role will focus on optimizing costs, ensuring requisite quality, and driving the overall development and digitalization of supply chain management activities within the Gensol Group.
