Google Partners eZee for its Free Booking Link Program

Google rolled out its Free Hotel Booking Links (FBL) program for hospitality businesses in collaboration with eZee Technosys. eZee is the global #2 hotel PMS provider and has joined forces with the search giant to empower its end users with the benefits of this program.

Starting now, eZee’s customers will be able to enroll and fully reap the benefits of this program without any hassle whatsoever, demonstrating eZee’s commitment and constant innovations to its hospitality solutions. This coupled with its ongoing strive to empower hotels to become more profitable made them one of the initial technology partners for this program.

Google is well known for its innovations and initiatives aimed at augmenting businesses and enhancing user experience. FBL is a continuation of Google’s efforts in support of the travel and hospitality industry. Over the last few years, Google has launched several products and programs including Travel Insights with Google, Google Hotel Search (previously known as Google Hotel Finder) and Google Hotel Ads, to enable accommodation providers gain higher visibility and demand, and also helped travelers with quick and accessible hotel booking.

The recent addition to Google’s hospitality portfolio, FBL will assist accommodation providers to enlist their direct booking rates and availability on Google.

Through this new launch, Google is making it free for hotels and travel companies around the world to appear in hotel booking links, beginning this week. eZee’s role here would be to enroll its existing customers and all future customers onto the platform, unlocking a myriad of direct and commission-free booking opportunities for the properties.

This program would entail the benefits for hospitality businesses including direct connection to Google with the best rate coverage and real time prices, display of direct rates and availability on Google Search and Google Maps, and acquire more direct commission-free bookings.

For the travelers, this program will provide them an immediate access to a larger selection of accommodations with accurate and real-time pricing, allowing them to make informed travel decisions, resulting in better booking experience and overall satisfaction.

Andrew Kim, the Chief Business Officer of eZee commented, “The most important fact we realized during and as we come out of the pandemic is that, companies will have to keep innovating and evolving to survive and impart superior user experience. With the FBL program, Google aims to assist the hospitality industry bounce back on their feet through optimum visibility and opportunities. eZee’s purpose has always been to bolster small and mid-sized hotels to become more profitable and efficient businesses. By participating and working with Google on FBL, eZee aims to strengthen the travel industry with modernization.”

With travel and tourism in some parts of the world showing signs of recovery in 2021, it has become crucial for the hospitality sector to identify opportunities and apply strategies to retain their businesses. On the other hand, travelers are expecting better and personalized experiences. In such a scenario, Google’s FBL and eZee’s participation in it will turn out to be a valuable opportunity.
