Inflexor Ventures, a science, engineering and technology -focused, sector-agnostic venture capital firm, announced the first close of its Fund III, Inflexor Technology Discovery Fund, securing commitments aggregating to INR 400 crore.

The Fund is anchored by the Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) and HDFC AMC Select AIF FoF (HDFC FoF), and has also seen participation from leading international institutions.

Building on the track record of Fund I (2016 vintage) and Fund II (2021 vintage), Inflexor Fund III will continue backing founders building differentiated businesses in science, engineering and technology domains with high barriers to entry.

Investing primarily at the pre-Series A and Series A stages with initial cheques of INR 15–45 crore, the Fund expects to build a portfolio of 22–25 companies. While staying true to the philosophy that has defined its earlier funds, Fund III places greater emphasis on Series A opportunities as the Indian venture ecosystem matures and a growing number of companies demonstrate early product-market fit and global scalability.

This reflects Inflexor's core philosophy: combining generalist breadth with thematic depth, remaining sector-agnostic while building deep conviction in enduring technology platforms.

Rather than chasing sector labels or short-term market narratives, the firm backs technologies and business models capable of compounding value over a decade or more. It is this discipline, demonstrated across earlier funds, that has drawn a diversified base of domestic and international institutional investors and returning family offices to Fund III.

“India's innovation ecosystem has reached an inflection point. We're seeing a growing pipeline of globally ambitious companies built on differentiated science, engineering and technology, creating a compelling opportunity to partner with founders earlier in their scaling journey", says Venkat Vallabhaneni, Founder and Managing Director of Inflexor Ventures.

"Fund III reflects our conviction in this opportunity and our commitment to being long-term partners to exceptional founders", adds Venkat.

With the first close completed, Fund III has commenced deployment into a set of high-conviction opportunities and expects to announce its first investments in the coming weeks.

Over the past decade, Inflexor has partnered with more than 25 technology companies, including Atomberg, Bellatrix Aerospace, CloudSEK, CredFlow, Kale Logistics and PlayShifu.
