Coca-Cola India has appointed Irene Tan as Vice President, Human Resources for India & Southwest Asia (INSWA). Irene will be in charge of accelerating INSWA's growth in India and Southwest Asia through the recruitment of future-ready talent, the facilitation of performance, and the development of employees.

Since joining Coca-Cola in 2012 as a talent sourcing consultant for the Asia Pacific Group, Irene has held a variety of roles and responsibilities.

Before joining Coca-Cola, Irene worked for Spencer Stuart, an international executive search firm. She earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the National University of Singapore.

She worked as the Coca-Cola company's lead talent acquisition partner in Greater China and Korea. She is credited with initiating campus recruitments for management trainees, a signature programme for China that promotes both gender and generational diversity in the business.

In 2015, she worked on multiple executive search mandates across Asia Pacific, including as executive recruiting director for Bottling Investment Group (BIG) in Singapore.

She was appointed as the Asia Pacific Talent & Development (T&D) Director in 2020, and she was a member of the global T&D Leadership team, responsible for advancing the talent agenda and developing a diversity succession pipeline. She spearheaded the region's Learning and Enterprise Capability initiatives.

“With Irene's deep understanding of the company as well as talent management expertise across markets, we are confident that she will steer the Human Resources function for continued success and further strengthen our position as an employer of choice,” said Sanket Ray – President, India and Southwest Asia.
