Jasleen Kaur Appointed Head of Category Marketing at Bata India
Bata India has appointed Jasleen Kaur G as the Head of Category Marketing and Public Relations. In this role, Kaur will oversee the marketing portfolios of brands including Bata, Hush Puppies, Weinbrenner, Bubble Gummers, Nine West, Power, Floatz, and North Star.
Kaur began her career as a journalist with The Hindu and then joined Canon India as an executive - of marketing and planning, where she rose to head the company as a senior executive - of digital marketing and PR. Then, she joined Benetton Group as deputy manager - digital marketing and PR and held various roles in different capacities.
As the head - of marketing, PR, and sustainability, she was responsible for the Indian sub-continent markets including Myanmar, Nepal & Sri Lanka. She also leads the CSR and sustainability development in India.
Kaur previously served as Assistant Vice President of Marketing and PR at Reliance Brands Limited, where she managed brands such as H by Hamleys, Mothercare, and Hugo Boss. She is also the founder and CEO of Indiawood Global, a company that offers services focusing on the product and brand life cycle.
