L&T Partners With BSNL to develop private 5G Networks
L&T Technology Services Ltd has partnered with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to develop private 5G networks for enterprises in India, according to Amit Chadha, chief executive officer and managing director.
This strategic collaboration marks L&T's entry into the private 5G sector, with BSNL supplying spectrum and network infrastructure and LTTS providing corporations with devices, apps, technologies, software, sensors, servers, and core integration within the network architecture.
L&T's engineering and research and development services business will focus on artificial intelligence (AI) at the same time as 5G as part of its expansion goals and will boost its personnel by five times to 1,000 by 2023. In addition, the company is building its own BERT model, which is geared for enterprise use, he added
