design and verification labs. The company aims to fill a wide range of roles in Hyderabad, including those in engineering, science, research and information technology. Micron expects to hire approximately 2000 employees in India within the next few years.

In line with Micron’s commitment to investing in the local communities in which it operates, the company also announced that it is awarding a $ 1,00,000 grant to the Akshaya Patra Foundation’s midday-meal program through the Micron Foundation. The program helps eliminate classroom hunger, increase school attendance, address malnutrition, improve concentration and provide employment opportunities for women. The donation will benefit 5000 children and their families for an entire school year. Micron is also encouraging team members to volunteer and support Akshaya Patra in a variety of ways.
