Nathealth Foundation has welcomed two esteemed leaders, Dr. Indu Bhushan and Neeraj Jain, to its Board. Their exceptional expertise and dedication to enhancing healthcare will greatly reinforce the Foundation's mission to build a strong and inclusive healthcare ecosystem in India.
Dr Indu Bhushan, Former IAS officer, Senior Associate at Bloomberg School of Public Health and Johns Hopkins University, and Founding CEO of the National Health Authority, has a distinguished career spanning over four decades. As the CEO of Ayushman Bharat, he spearheaded the implementation of the world’s largest healthcare coverage scheme, ensuring its successful nationwide rollout. His visionary leadership and experience in leading transformative healthcare initiatives have left a profound impact on millions of lives, making him a trailblazer in enhancing healthcare access.
Neeraj Jain, currently serving as Country Director - India and Director - Growth Operations for AMEE (Asia, Middle East & Europe) at PATH, brings over 30 years of experience in the social impact and global health sectors. He has led PATH’s strategic, operational, and growth initiatives across the region and represents the organization to governments, policymakers, and the global health community in South Asia. A passionate advocate for leveraging technology, partnerships, and collaboration within the Global South, Neeraj has played a key role in advancing health access and equity. He has also been pivotal in driving public health innovations and building strategic collaborations across the public health value chain.
