Next Story Group, an integrated hospitality management, marketing, design, franchising, investment & development company headquartered in Singapore, appoints the renowned MasterChef Australia guest judge Christy Tania as its Food and Beverage Consultant. The group has been growing from strength to strength in the past 12 months, having recently launched the first Ink Hotel in Melbourne and extended its Kafnu footprint to Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City. As a part of its growth strategy, the group is embarking on a strategic food and beverage masterplan that will transform its food and beverage outlets at its properties across its brands – Next, Sage, Ink and Kafnu.

As the group’s Food and Beverage consultant, Christy Tania will be assisting in the development& execution of the group’s food and beverage strategy. Her responsibilities include concept development, optimizing food and beverage performance and talent recruitment for the group’s food and beverage outlets. She will work closely with heads of operations and property General Managers to ensure the success of the food and beverage outlets at the group’s 20 properties which include the upcoming opening of Next Melbourne in Australia and Kafnu St Marks in India next year.

Christy who has been trained as a pastry chef at the Ecole Nationale Superieure de La Patisserie in France is the owner & head chef of GLACÉ Dessert Artisanal in

She has previously been a pastry guest judge on MasterChef Australia and has also worked at Ritz Paris Hotel, Guy Savoy in Singapore, as well as Vue De Monde and various hotels in Melbourne. Prior to her culinary career, she was a business analyst and consultant with IBM Global Business Services.
