Parle Agro Expands Smoodh Portfolio With Kesar Badam Variant

Parle Agro, a renowned beverage company, recently introduced Smoodh Kesar Badam as part of its prominent dairy beverage brand Smoodh. This new offering aims to enhance the brand's selection of flavored milk products by providing consumers with a decadent and traditional Indian Kesar Badam flavor.

Kesar Badam is a flavor combination adored throughout India for its familiarity and richness. The Smoodh Kesar Badam beverage combines the nourishment of almonds with the comforting essence of saffron and velvety milk, offering a luxurious indulgence in the unique style of Smoodh.

Commenting on the launch of Smoodh Kesar Badam, Nadia Chauhan, Joint Managing Director and CMO, Parle Agro says, “Since its launch, Smoodh has redefined the dairy beverage category by making indulgent dairy-based beverages more accessible”.

Created to cater to various occasions, from festive events to casual gatherings, this product is affordably priced at INR 10 for 80 ml and INR 20 for 150 ml, ensuring accessibility for daily enjoyment.

Smoodh Kesar Badam will be offered in various packaging options in both urban and rural markets, catering to consumers through traditional retail channels, modern retail outlets, as well as online platforms for expedited delivery services.

 

The organization stated that the launch of the latest variant coincides with its plan to take advantage of the increasing consumer preference for classic Indian flavors in the fast-growing flavored milk market.

Kesar Badam, with its rich history and appeal across different age groups, offers a chance to enhance consumer interaction and expand the brand's reach. The unveiling will be backed by a comprehensive marketing strategy encompassing out-of-home (OOH) advertising, digital channels, social media platforms, influencer collaborations, and in-store promotional activities.

The flavored milk selection encompasses varieties such as Chocolate, Chocolate Hazelnut, Toffee Caramel, and the recently added Kesar Badam variation.
