Piramal Pharma Names Sai Ramana Ponugoti as CEO of India Consumer Healthcare
The Board of Directors of Piramal Pharma has approved the appointment of Mr. Sai Ramana Ponugoti as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of India Consumer Healthcare (ICH). Following this appointment, Mr. Sarosh Shetty will step down as Interim CEO of ICH. Mr. Ponugoti brings over 20 years of diverse and exceptional leadership experience, having held several senior positions at Procter & Gamble (P&G) across India, as well as in various markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa
As the current Chief Sales Officer for P&G India, he has successfully led constructive disruptions, contributing to significant business growth and profitability. In his previous role as the Country Manager for P&G Vietnam, he successfully managed a complex business environment to deliver superlative business and organization results. Throughout his career, Mr. Ponugoti has been a champion of customer-centricity and innovation, consistently leading constructive disruptions and delivering superior business results, including successful profit transformation.
His strategic vision, emphasis on balanced growth, and expertise in building world-class organizations have been crucial to his success. Moreover, his strong commitment to talent development and fostering a culture of equality and inclusion has been instrumental in shaping high-performing teams. Mr. Ponugoti holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
