PM to Launch Rs.4,000 Crore Projects at Sikkim Statehood Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to partake in the concluding event commemorating Sikkim's 50th anniversary of statehood and is anticipated to initiate projects valued at Rs.4,000 crore on Tuesday.
Currently on a two-day visit to the Himalayan state, Modi is scheduled to visit an orchidarium located at the Swarnajayanti Maitri Manjari Park at approximately 9:30 am, according to reports.

The park has been transformed into a premier destination for experiencing orchids on a global scale.
Comprehensive security measures have been implemented in the state capital and its neighboring regions in anticipation of Modi's visit.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Paljor Stadium for the concluding event of Sikkim's 50th anniversary of statehood.
During this occasion, he will inaugurate a series of development initiatives with a collective value exceeding Rs.4,000 crore.
According to reports, he is scheduled to deliver a speech to the assembled audience for the occasion. The projects encompass a diverse array of sectors, including infrastructure, connectivity, healthcare, education, energy, urban development, environmental initiatives, tourism, and agriculture.
