Practo Launches in US with $ 75 Million GMV run-rate

Practo, a digital healthcare platform preparing for its IPO, has today revealed the introduction of its care navigation platform in the US following a successful launch in the UAE earlier this year.
The company states that Practo has over 200,000 doctors listed by specialty in the US and has surpassed an annualised GMV run rate of $75 million, with the backing of over 1 million users on the platform.
According to the company, traffic in the US has increased almost six times since its launch, with over 300,000 monthly active users.

The strongest early adoption has been seen in dental and mental health, with more than 500 doctors across over 150 clinics, hospitals, and independent practices generating revenue from paid subscriptions, according to reports.
The US entry arrives as Practo has notably enhanced its financial position. As previously mentioned by Entrackr, the firm achieved operating EBITDA-positive status for the first time in FY25, recording an operating profit of Rs 15 crore, in contrast to a Rs 17 crore loss in FY24.

The revenue generated from operations was Rs 234 crore, with GMV stable at Rs 3,500 crore, and positive cash flows were observed.
Shashank ND, co-founder and CEO of Practo, stated that the “US launch demonstrates the platform’s capability to address trust, depth, and care navigation even within complicated healthcare systems.”

He mentioned that Practo is developing a healthcare infrastructure focused on outcomes, supported by extensive data, aiming to enhance health results via more informed and responsible care choices.
After its launch in the US, Practo is enhancing its on-ground team and assessing potential acquisitions to strengthen provider networks and widen specialty offerings. Focusing on India, the UAE, and now the US, the company seeks to expand its international revenue while maintaining profitability, thereby enhancing its IPO story.
