According to reports, multiplex operator PVR INOX has partnered with VISA, to drive seamless, secure, and contactless Mobile-based tap to pay transactions. The initiative will run for six months across 160 cinemas in the top eight metro cities of India.
Cinema attendees can now utilize their Android, NFC-compatible smartphones to tap and pay with Visa cards for transactions at PVR INOX theaters. By adopting Mobile tap to pay, PVR INOX and Visa are enhancing transactions to be quicker, safer, and more convenient, establishing a new standard for digital-first cinema experiences.
